We are looking for

Network Specialist
Miejsce pracy: Łódź

As a Network Engineer you will provide responsive, professional and competent technical support for a number of network appliances such as Switches, Routers and network management systems in local network infrastructure. You will be part of R&D facility located in Lodz..

Responsibilities
  • Switch configuration
  • Firewall rules verification
  • Dynamic Access Policies configuration
  • Firmware upgrades
  • Monitoring network availability and log analysis
  • Troubleshooting of various network issues
  • Network documentation
  • Collaborate with superior coordinators of network deployments
Other tasks:
  • Incident, Service Request and Change Management activities – internal and external communication handled in English
  • To follow established procedures, recommend improvements and resolve enquiries, issues or problems. To document actions taken for continuous service improvement
  • To take ownership of issues identified. To co-operate with an account team to provide technical input into incident and problem resolution process
  • To escalate issues as necessary to deliver required service level
Requirements
  • Very good knowledge and experience in networking and security
  • LAN (L2 & L3 switches)
  • Routing protocols
  • TCP/IP
  • VPN, RAS and Firewall knowledge
  • HW-Vendors knowledge; e.g. Extreme Networks, Cisco
  • Good knowledge of DNS, DHCP
  • Good knowledge of WAN technologies
  • B1 level (or higher) of Spoken and Written English including technical vocabulary
